Student Hood

I      Aspirant – a person who sincerely seeks greater knowledge and understanding of life through the teachings of Nungkyyii.

II     Pupil – a novice learner enrolled in our spiritual institution.

III    Student – an investigator of knowledge who must commit him or herself to the study and practice of the philosophy of Nungkyyii, and gain official acceptance from the Grand Master.

Discipleship

IV    Samadhi – a disciplinarian of Nungkyyii; member of the Grand Temple of Nung-Budo-Ky, and resident of the Grand Master's Ashram, who is devoted to a Zen way of life, by becoming a greater human being.

V     Sannyasin – an advanced disciplinarian of Nungkyyii; member of the Grand Temple of Nung-Budo-Ky, and resident of the Grand Master's Ashram, who must take charge of the operations of the Ashram and supervise the new Samadhi residents.

VI    Chela – a senior disciple of Nungkyyii; member of the Grand Temple of Nung-Budo-Ky, and resident of the Grand Master's Ashram, who must take charge of all external affairs of the Ashram.

Monk Hood

VII   Sage – a wise and disciplined member of the Purple Dragons Zen Monastery, who must be committed to the upkeep and function of the Monastery.

VIII  Yogi – an advanced Monk of the Purple Dragons Zen Monastery, who must take charge of the overall operations of the Monastery.

IX    Guru – a senior Monk of the Purple Dragons Zen Monastery, who must take charge of the external affairs of the Monastery.

Mastership

X     Primary Master – an accomplished graduate of the Purple Dragons Zen Monastery, who must take charge of the teachings and leadership of a Temple of Nung-Budo-Ky, along with the testing and promoting of martial arts rank of all of the students under his or her jurisdiction. A Primary Master must create his or her own organization of teachers and students; establish a Purple Dragons Ashram, and initiate a spiritual movement.

XI   Head Master – a temple leader who governs the activity, development and progress of our spiritual movement in his or her region, which includes all martial arts, educational and spiritual operations.

XII  Chief Master – an executive assistant to the Grand Master. A Chief Master handles all of the affairs of the movement when the Grand Master is unable to be present.

XIII Grand Master – an executive assistant to the Supreme Grand Master. A Grand Master is responsible for the physical operation of the entire movement. There will only be one Grand Master at a time.

XIV Supreme Grand Master – the highest ranking member alive, of the spiritual movement. The Supreme Grand Master will orchestrate the spiritual phase of the entire movement between his residence at the Monastery and his engineering work at the Space Embassy, located on the Island of Puerto Rico, during the construction of the Galactic Starship Omega. After the completion of The Omega Project, the Supreme Grand Master will make permanent resident aboard the Starship. All spiritual ranking will take place in the presence of the Supreme Grand Master with his royal seal stamped upon all certified documents.

XV  Grand Master Illuminati – this prestigious rank is bestowed upon the Supreme Grand Master when he passes from the physical world to the spiritual world. The newly ranked Supreme Grand Master will conduct the ceremony.

    • All practitioners of the philosophy of Nungkyyii must strive to become a greater human being.
    • All ranking students and above must obey the spiritual oath of Nungkyyii: As a student of Nungkyyii, I promise to practice the art of self-discipline; develop and synchronize my body mind and spirit; obey the law of my being; harmonize with human nature; live in the truth, and become one with the Infinite Mind of Intelligence.
    • All Disciples, Monks and Masters must be detached from the mundane world, and be wholeheartedly committed to living a Zen life of truth and spirituality.
    • All Monks will have an annual lecture circuit in which they must visit Temples, Ashrams and Dojos to speak and teach about the philosophy of Nungkyyii; the life and goals of Zen hood, and the future plans of our spiritual movement.
    • All Zen Masters must preside over a Nung-Budo-Ky Temple, head a martial arts organization, and initiate a spiritual movement.
